2. Describe the major phases in MIS design. Can you
compare these phases with Research and development projects?
3. Trace the evolution of data modeling concepts with
examples which are different from the ones given in the preceding text.
4. Outline the basic sequence of steps to acquiring a
DMBS. What steps are the mists important? Why should an organization be careful
about placing over reliance on “benchmark” tests in selecting a DBMS?
5. Differentiate among Trojans, Worms and
Viruses. Give one example for each. “Computer virus is a major threat to
computer security”. Justify the statement.
