do you understand by the term forecasting? Explain the steps in forecasting
process.
2. What is job design? What are the
various traditional engineering techniques and behavioural approaches of job
design? Explain behavioural approaches in detail.
3. “Several
rules have been developed to decide the next job to be selected from amongst
the various jobs waiting for loading on the machine”. Discuss these rules? Also
explain the general principles of scheduling.
4. “As per major activity groups involved
in materials management in any manufacturing organization, several issues
emerge, which need to be considered while discharging its functions”. What are
